I love reading and teach English literature, composition and language. My courses vary from 18th and 19th century writing by women to American literature, modernism and cultural studies. I enjoy research, traveling and writing. I also meditate. Recently, I have taken up walking daily. It’s the kind of exercise that allows for an appreciation of one’s surroundings, a connection to nature and time to think.

  1. Totally enjoyed your piece on “At Home in Puebla” as well as your other posts. There is in all a satisfying blend of the personal and the historical and a natural flow of images that make the audience feel as if they were there. Very accessible and beautifully written. Carmen
